Welcome to the International Disaster Recovery Association, (IDRA).  Established in 1989, IDRA is the premiere association dedicated to the voice, data & image telecommunications aspects of Contingency Planning, Business Resumption & Continuation and Disaster Avoidance, Mitigation, Recovery & Restoration.  All of the above are considered to be under the Telecommunications “Disaster Recovery” umbrella.

IDRA’s “Disaster Recovery” domain includes telecommunications equipment, networks, security, infrastructure, notification & warning systems, policies, procedures & job descriptions, audits, exercises, alternate sites, back-up electric power and other related topics.
